Working in a blacksmith shop with a history stretching back over 100 years is an amazing experince. The course is very well laid out, each project building on the last so that you end up with a hammer that you made yourself, and using the tools you made at the start of the course. The four (or six!) person striking team is certainly a highlight. The teachers certainly know their stuff, providing demonstrations of the key steps, sharing tips and refining skills. Highly recommended!!
Just completed a blacksmith tool box master class I did not have that much forging experience .The instructors were greatly experienced in the trade of blacksmithing ,they were easy to get along with, great communicators, and were always positive and encouraging .The team sledge hammer striking with 4 and 6 course members was one of many Hi lights on the course the best memory for me will be on the final day hammer making challenge where all the tools are used and the forging techniques come into practice the satisfaction you get from making your own hammer and final polishing is extremly rewarding and satisfing .I have wanted to do this course for several years and am very glad to have completed it thank you for a fantastic 4 days of blacksmiting brilliant see you again Eveleigh
