I had the great pleasure of doing the "Introduction to Damascus Steel" Course at the Eveleigh Works.
The facilities at Eveleigh Works are a sight to behold themselves, there could no better area to run the course than in this working piece of our industrial history.
The teacher, Matt Mewburn has an extensive knowledge of the blacksmith trade and his relaxed, easy going style and the ability to pass on this knowledge made for a very enjoyable day.
The small class size (4 students) ensured excellent interaction between the students and the teacher.
