An excellent course, which covers a lot of ground in two days. My initial reaction was that I was not interested in making coat hooks, but the exercise is chosen for the skills it teaches (Tapering, scrolling, bending, setting, riveting, etc.). Matt is a very good teacher, able to impart the underlying principles and with the extra knowledge of metallurgy many blacksmiths do not have.
I now have enormous respect for the blacksmiths art!
This was a great class. Matt was a very good teacher and catered to everyone's level of competency really well. The atmosphere in there is awesome and would be great to hear it in full swing with all the tools in action. Learnt a lot and will be coming back for all the remaining classes and the Wednesday night open times in the future.
