Great course, really interesting to get hands on and give blacksmithing a try. You get a good mix of skills in the intro course - I'll definitely be looking at other courses following on from this to keep developing.
An outstanding experience. The course was interesting, well paced and presented in a way that showed how the skills we were being taught for our project are more generally applied.
Matt (our teacher) was knowledgeable, encouraging and managed to convey a surprising amount of information in just two days without ever seeming hurried or rushed.
On its own, this would have been more than enough, but being able to work among the equipment at Everleigh; to see equipment from the steam age, through to the current era in use and to be able to watch other smiths at work completed an already amazing weekend.
