I seriously don’t know where to start. The most amazing weeekend, I made a knife!!
I was struck by the history of the building, the tools, forged and power hammer the original guys used when making locomotive parts. All of this added to the incredible knowledge shared with us by our teacher Keith, the most humble man I’ve ever met. He’s a world regarded blade smith yet so relaxed and passionate, ready with a joke and willing to share his experience.
Oh, and I made a knife!!
I can’t recommend this course enough, the feeling I got watching the steel transform with each hammer strike & pass of the grinder.
Do yourself or someone you love a favour and book them on this course... you’ll get a great knife to treasure.
I’m hooked, now to learn to make a forge for the backyard.
Best present EVER!!
Alan
