What a fantastically fulfilling workshop in a stellar historic location! I went into it knowing next to nothing about forging, and left with a broad understanding of a variety of blacksmithing topics and a beautiful new kitchen knife.
Matt (instructor) is an expert craftsman, immensely knowledgeable teacher and an all round nice guy - meeting Shanghai the dog was an added bonus too :)
Thank you for a wonderful experience Eveleigh Works; highly recommended, and I can't wait for the next one!
I thoroughly enjoyed the Introduction to Knife Making course. It is a very well designed course that progressed at manageable pace. The course leader was patient and led the class well allowing students to explore the tools and techniques at their own pace whilst imparting knowledge and experience at the right times to ensure the end goal was achieved. Spending 2 days in a heritage listed workshop with people who are passionate about what they do was an added bonus.
