I cannot rate this course highly enough. A gift from my wife. A brilliant setting and fantastic tuition. Small group so very hands on instruction. Really interesting and so much fun. The instructor Troy was an absolute legend. Passionate and a real character. Made the day.
If your struggling for a gift idea for someone then this is certainly different and absolutely worth it.
And the final product I made at the end of 2 full days is pretty impressive!
Cheers

A bit of a dream come true. I had always wanted to make my own knife, and after looking at all the various options this seemed to be by far and away the best. Troy, our instructor was awesome and taught us so much. Having the course over 2 days really allowed us to get into the craftsmanship on our own, at pretty much our own pace. Troy was ever present, ready, and willing to help whenever asked. He regaled us with some great stories and insights and made a great experience that much better. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended this course to anyone with even the slightest interest in forging and crafting their own knife.
Great course, really hands on.Forging in the locomotive workshop was a surreal experience, and made it alot more than I even expected. The knife I made with my own hands is excellent and impressed my family.
Do it!
