I've learnt a lot about the basics of metalworking and the importance of heat in tempering the metal. Everything can be fixed at any step of the process.
Matt and Louey were very patient and helped us in designing and shaping our respective hammers.
Very happy with how my hammer turned out. It's currently displayed proudly by my bedside
Highly recommended :)
it was one of the best short courses I've taken, learning to work with another person to make a forging hammer.
the class was a great eclectic mix of people who worked together wonderfully. The teaching was superb with Matt and Louie leading the way through the experience and the fun.
%100 worth the money. the teacher Matt Mewburn shared his knowledge very well with the class and was very imformative not just about the course but the history of the building and machinery. any question i asked was answered in full knowledge and in an easy to understand way. My final result i am very very pleased with and have shown all my friends and family while passing on the same knowledge i learn in the course. would highly reccoment to anyone with a creative/ industial mind. 10/10
