A great class. The teacher, James, kept the class motivated and entertained, gave good instructions, showed us how to make the hammers and then helped us make ours. His instructions were clear and easy to understand. The setting is great, in the old Eveleigh Workshops, with a lot of the old machinery still on display and some in working condition. The class was suitable for beginners and there was nothing too difficult that was beyond us. His explanation of tempering, normalising and hardening was easy to understand and made sense to me.
