A great course.
Matt is an incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher. The only problem is getting him to shut up about the amazing history of the Eveleigh workshop to start the course!
Every aspect of the process was carefully explained and demonstrated. We used a hydrolic press, hand tools and grinders to form and shape our hammers.
I am thrilled by the result, even if mine is quite wonky. For a first hammer, I’m delighted.
I can’t recommend this course too highly if you enjoy working with tools and your hands. You’ll love it.
This course was very informative, relaxed environment, the teacher has SO MUCH knowledge, and most importantly it was a very fun way to spend the day. I have been using the hammer I made at work and I'm so proud of it.
I recommend this course for beginners through to more experienced blacksmiths, Matt can cater to all.
