Red hot experience!
What a great day being taught by the very knowledgable and experienced blacksmiths at Eveleigh works. There is a fascinating array of tools and machinery in the workshop which the team are more than happy to explain in detail. We got into the course quite quickly after a comprehensive safety briefing, and man what FUN! Every process was explained well and clear demonstrations were given for each step. A great atmosphere and a great experience. I can’t recommend this course enough for the experience and fun I had and I got to go home with a beautiful handmade hammer. Thanks again to James and Mark for their patience, guidance and good nature.
10/10 would recommend. If you’re interested in blacksmithing and want to get some hands on experience and advice from a pro I would definitely recommend. The course was really fun and very insightful, I learnt so much and had an awesome and personalised hammer that I made to show for it. James was an excellent teacher and Matt was very helpful in organising my class considering the COVID-19 pandemic. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
