Hi, I really enjoyed this course, purchased by my wife as a Christmas present. The class size was just right, and I really enjoyed using traditional blacksmith tools. What I really liked about this course, was working in the old Eveleigh Workshop that has remained in place since the last shift in 1989. Once upon a time, all NSW trains, locomotives, carriages, etc were manufactured under the one roof at the Eveleigh Workshops. They made everything from nuts and bolts, through to locomotive engines and everything in between. Many of the tools, presses, forges, lates. overhead cranes, steam pipes, etc are still there. I cannot think of a better place to experience such a hands-on trade then being immersed in the Victorian era history of the Eveleigh workshop (and there's a mircro brewery across the bay to quench your thirst afterwards) Well done guys.
